Biography

Yuichi Abe (アベユーイチ, Abe Yūichi, February 6, 1964) is a Japanese film director, anime director and screenwriter. He was born in Sakata, Yamagata, Japan. He was formerly known by his real name Yuichi Abe (阿部雄一, Abe Yūichi) until 2004, when he changed his writing to アベユーイチ. He is mainly a live action and anime director.

Not to be confused with drama director of the same name Yûichi Abe (阿部雄一)
