Yishou tells Daohan that Emily has motor neurone disease. He offers to clarify matters with Try if they really did break up over the charity event. Daohan recognises that Shuiqing is lonely. She asks to practise calligraphy with him. When Daoren voices his opinion, Daohan urges him to spend time with Meigui instead. A misunderstanding leads everyone to assume Daren is dead. Judging from Daomei’s reaction, Shuiqing realises there is no way he can separate the couple. Daren is only pretending to be in a coma.
