Relic Hunter

Event: GERMANIA CIRCA 400 A.D. Sydney's old friend from the Louvre Museum begs to join the hunt for a ruby-encrusted scepter once wielded by Gunther the Brave. They discover afterwards that this ""friend"" has quit his job and sold the recovered relic for a profit. It is up to Sydney and Nigel to recover the scepter before the buyer takes a midnight flight under the cover of diplomatic immunity.

Event: CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS 1711 A.D. Author and conspiracy theorist Vladimir Bugos contacts Sydney and Nigel to locate the Golden Falcon of Maribor, a relic last seen the night Crown Princess Natasha, its owner, disappeared about 400 years ago. Not impressed by Bugos' reputation, they are swayed by a map he has discovered, and they head into the Carpathian Mountains despite of werewolves to bag the Falcon.

Event: CHURCH OF CORDIERS SALON, FRANCE 1600 Sydney and Nigel are thrown into an international intrigue, when one of Nostradamus' prophecies predicts that a Fox will stop a royal assassination. Sydney and Nigel must crack the prophet's cryptic code to identify the assassin in time, armed only with need to know information and a 16th century riddle.

Event: URAL STEPPES, RUSSIA 339 B.C. Sydney, Nigel and their Army escorts are ambushed by rebel forces, while in Russia recovering an ancient blade, known as the Sword of Ateas, lost over 2000 years ago. When Sydney regains consciousness two weeks later, she's being held against her will at a hunting lodge in the woods. Unbeknownst to Sydney, her captor has given up hunting animals and now stalks only the most dangerous game - humans.

Event: MISSISSIPPI VALLEY 1605 Sydney's graduate student Adam Grant unearths a lead on the never found but most famous of all Native American artifacts: the legendary Eyes of Toklamanee. Adam's research takes him and Sydney to St. Louis, Missouri, and to the construction site of the city's newest subway line. With a archeologist to verify that construction won't destroy anything of historical significance, it looks like the lead is a dead end.

Event: EGYPT 30 B.C. Sydney and Nigel laugh it off when Claudia claims to have known Cleopatra in a past life. They begin to listen when her claims reveal a secret compartment in the Egyptian queen's golden jewelry box. Claudia's memories lead to Alexandria, and they begin to hunt for a 50-carat diamond necklace given to Cleopatra by Marc Antony. Back at the university, Nigel has to face down University Auditor Maxine Schneider with unexpected results.

Event: ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA 1886 Sydney knows she's putting her life on the line, when she agrees to a sting operation orchestrated by Interpol agent Cate Hemphill. But before the sting begins, she's snatched by an unseen assailant, and it's up to Cate, Nigel and Claudia to pinpoint a suspect. Between rival Relic Hunters and enemies made on Sydney's adventures, the three have to rescue her before it's too late.

Event: EGYPT 1516 BC Sydney and Nigel discover relics of Egyptian Pharaoh Amun the Second, whose treasure-laden burial chamber was thought to have never been found, while serving as technical advisors on a movie. But why are the priceless artifacts he wanted to take into the afterlife on a film set in England? Sydney and Nigel must unravel the mystery of a decades-old double-cross and theft.

Event: BURMA THE BRITISH-BURMESE WAR 1824 To rescue a relic-hunting team hired by billionaire entrepreneur Rod Thorson to locate an ancient sacrificial bowl, Sydney, Nigel and Thorson parachute into the Myanmar jungle. The crew's last video transmission of a figure ravaging the campsite does not bode well. Hoping to find the crew alive, as well as the world's oldest recorded religious artifact, they uncover a living link to man's savage ancestor, homo heidelbergensis.

Event: HAITI LATE 18TH CENTURY Two graduate students on the trail of the Haitian Cross of Utu disappear in New Orleans and Sydney and Nigel go down on the bayou to find them. Sydney and Nigel uncover more than they ever wanted to know about voodoo, when picking up the young scholars' trail, including a modern day Utu cult hell-bent on keeping its prized black pearl talisman with its amazing powers a secret.

Event: ROME 44 BC Sydney's colleague Professor Penrose has a lead on Caesar's breastplate, believed to render the wearer invincible, and heads for Rome to have an ancient text translated. Claudia rushes to the airport to deliver pages he left behind, and follows a stranger carrying the professor's document tube all the way to Italy. Sydney and Nigel try to catch her, believing Claudia is in mortal danger.

Event: THREE RIVERS, CHINA 1245 AD Randal Fox, Sydney's father and a hydrodam-building engineer, beckons his daughter to China so that he can keep his word to monks. The holy men refuse to abandon Three Rivers for the dam's opening, believing their long-lost statue, the Jade Empress, is hidden in the valley. Sydney, Nigel, Randall and his young fiancée Jenny follow a trail over 700-years-old, knowing that failure means a watery death.

Event: ROMANIA 1830 Sydney receives a mysterious package after her old friend, Garrett Burke, is killed in Bucharest, sent before his death. Burke was hunting an ancient gypsy treasure, the Crown of Roma, when a Relic Hunter's worst nightmare, the Vulture, fatally intervened. With authentic Tarot cards and Claudia's expertise on the subject, Sydney, Nigel and Claudia go to Romania to ensure that Burke didn't die for nothing.

Event: HAWAII 1779 At the reunion, Sydney is surprised that her high school sweetheart Tony has more on his mind than before. He's on the trail of Hawaii's Idol of Lono, stolen by Captain Cook's men in 1779. The trail leads to Madagascar, where Sydney will have to outwit a rival, if they hope to get the national treasure back.

Event: VANUATU ISLANDS 4800 B.C. Government agent Derek Lloyd, who tricked Sydney and Nigel into a mission once before, lures Sydney to New Guinea by kidnapping Nigel. Sydney and Nigel don't believe that the spy is on a goodwill mission, but are seduced by the possibility of rediscovering a lost civilization, the Kai Nomata, an ancient tribe believed to have been destroyed by a volcano thousands of years ago. When the need-to-know details are revealed, Sydney and Nigel don't know who or what to believe.

Event: SOUTH AMERICA 662 AD After recovering a vessel believed to contain the Great Warrior Spirit of the Mochicas and hopping a flight to Lima, Sydney and Nigel assume their adventure is complete. Their plane goes down and motley crew of passengers is beset by headhunters, rebels and internal strife. Forget getting the last of the Mochicas safely to the Lima Museum, Sydney and Nigel will be lucky to get themselves out of the jungle alive.

Event: TEMPLE OF KALI INDIA 500 AD After he bludgeons his assistant beyond recognition, anthropologist Fredrick Terrace is convinced that the dagger of Kali, the Indian goddess of destruction, made him do it. Sydney and Nigel head for Calcutta to recover its jeweled scabbard, believing that sheathing the blade will harness its mesmerizing power. In India, they'll have to infiltrate the deadly cult of Kali to ensure the blade never strikes again.

Event: KUBA, AFRICA 100 AD Sydney and Nigel go to Africa, after answering the call of fellow Relic Hunter Ross Crawford. They must return a treasure to its original place, instead of hunting down one. Ross began degenerating at an alarming clip, after he liberated an idol from the Temple of Woot, an African god of regeneration. Sydney and Nigel will have to locate the Temple and put back the idol before the Winter Solstice or risk unleashing a curse.

Event: PARIS, FRANCE CIRCA 1300 Sydney and Nigel are off to Paris to authenticate both the find and the legend behind, after monks deliver a Knights Templar medallion to Dr. Jaebert, curator at the French Institute of Antiquities. In 1307, the Grand Master of the Knights Templar, Jacques de Molay, trusted the future of the Templars to his aide by commanding him to hide sacred documents and the Grand Master's sword, believed to make the Grand Master invincible, from their enemies. Sydney and Nigel and an unlikely expert rush to puzzle the ancient clues together, before a greedy Relic Hunter can beat them.

Event: PARIS 1792 The discovery of a hidden scroll sparks a mission to recover the lost crown jewels of France. The message points Sydney and Nigel to a winery, Chateau Halezan founded by Jerome Halezan, long considered as Marie-Antoinette's lover. It's possible Halezan hid the jewels in a wine bottle. The treasure hunt winds through a Parisian black market and the city's famed underground catacombs, in addition to pitting Sydney and Nigel against thieves and crime lords.

Event: BUDAPEST 1897 Magician Rex Rolands seeks out Sydney's expertise to locate a jewel-encrusted staff that belonged to the Hungarian royal family, Hungary's Cursed Scepter. The journal of a Scotland Yard investigator brings Sydney, Nigel and Rex to The Magic Mansion in Atlantic City. Someone on the inside clues into their search and is determined to stop Sydney and Nigel, while they navigate the mansion's secret passageways, labyrinths and hidden chutes.

Event: SCOTLAND 1430 Sydney and Nigel head to the Scottish Highlands searching the missing half of the twine-ing rings that belonged to lovers from the 15th century. In legend whoever wears the rings will find everlasting love together, and their employer, who's got one of the two, is anxious to test the myth. Sydney faces more than a decaying castle and secret passageways, when she discovers that her own lost love, rival Relic Hunter Francois du Marier, is also in pursuit of the ring for far less romantic reasons.

Event: EGYPT 1895 Elizabeth Ruckeyser, the curator of New York's Crawford Institute, summons Sydney and Nigel to track down a ancient Egyptian relic, the sacred statue of the cat goddess Mafdet that Sydney found and returned once before. An age-old curse on the golden figurine claims that anyone who steals it will die by the claws of the cat. The hunt delves into Manhattan's ring of art thieves, turning up dead bodies covered with marks. Is Mafdet seeking revenge, or is someone fulfilling the prophesy?

Event: EGYPT 1425 B.C. Sydney and Nigel go to Cairo to chase down the real tomb raider, when Sydney's old friend Bruce Farrow is framed for plundering the tomb of Thutmose III and pocketing the Pharaoh's diamond. The theft of the gem, believed to have fallen from the sky inside a meteor, lures mercenary Avery Ko, a rival Relic Hunter, from the shadows. The trail leads to Amsterdam, where the stone is to be cut and sold. Sydney, Nigel and Bruce discover that the rock is not a diamond, and if cut by laser, will unleash a force that could cause major destruction like the tomb's hieroglyphs described.

Event: HUANG RIVER, CHINA 1000 B.C. Sydney and Nigel investigate a Chinese antiquity that washed ashore in Alaska, more than 3000 miles from its origin being lost over 3000 years. In legend a Chinese Emperor carved a sarcophagus for his bride, who wore a necklace of gold, even in death. But bandits raided the funeral and stole the coffin. In Moose Bay, Alaska, Sydney and Nigel find that two rival Relic Hunters and former beaus of Sydney's are on the case. They'll have to outsmart the adventurers and a local intent if they want to return the relic to its rightful place.

Event: IRELAND 1000 A.D. Sydney's former classmate Molly fears the life of an online acquaintance is in danger and begs Sydney to help. Sean Bolger discovered an ancient scroll that could lead to the lost crown of the last King of Ireland, Brian Boru, but Sean has since dropped out of sight. They and Nigel go to Dublin to investigate the O'Donnell clan entrusted with dying King Boru's crown, swore allegiance to the King of England. It turns into a search for the truth, as they uncover a family secret that will rewrite history.

Event: ATHENS, GREECE 3000 B.C. Stavros dangles an ancient trinket in front of both Claudia and Sydney in Athens. Stavros claims that the marble charm is the key to the fabled Minotaur's Maze. Sydney, Nigel and Claudia land in the middle of a family feud between Stavros and his crime boss father, both wanting to find the Maze and its mythical ball of golden twine. With 2000-year-old blueprints, the hunt is on to unearth important archeological find and to make it through the legendary labyrinth alive.

Event: CASANOVA'S HIDEAWAY, ITALY 1749 Sydney and Nigel are persuaded by soccer player Roberto Giannini into launching a search for Casanova's Book of Love. Sydney begins to suspect that the Roberto's best moves are reserved for the field and Roberto's real passion is his agent Kate Crowley.

Event: NORTHUMBRIAN COAST 935 A.D. Stewie Harper shows up at the university posing as a visiting professor. He's got a lead on an ancient fortune but needs Sydney's expertise. Sydney, Nigel and Stewie head off to Sweden to find the pillaged booty of legendary Viking marauder Jann the Bold. But Stewie's not telling the whole truth, which becomes clear after an encounter with the Swedish Society of Vikings, determined to stop them.

Event: SALZBURG, AUSTRIA 1946 A military officer persuades Sydney and Nigel to join him on an undercover mission to locate the Paracelsus scrolls, fabled to contain the formula to turn lead into gold, in Peruvian jungle. With minimal information, Sydney and Nigel find themselves caught in the crossfire between two government spies, claiming that the other is a rogue agent. Sydney must make a decision that could get her and Nigel killed and allow the alchemist's secret to fall into unsavory hands.

Event: FENWAY PARK, BOSTON 1946 Arrogant baseball star Frank Newhouse hires Sydney to find the magical glove of former baseball great Jimmy Jonesboro, stolen more than 50 years ago. Sydney and Nigel track the glove to the sewers of pre-Revolutionary war Boston, while unwittingly being tailed by Sydney's former rival, Kurt Reiner.

Event: GERMANY 1960 A musician appeals to Sydney to help him find his lost guitar given to him by Elvis Presley. The three head first to Nashville, then Germany. Sydney fans an old flame for information, and discovers that the guitar has more than sentimental value for interested parties, including a Cold War spy.

Event: CALIFORNIA 1846 Sydney and Nigel see an old photo of the Pioneer's Bear Flag of California, believed to have been destroyed during the struggle to control the state in 1846. Tracking the flag to Larivee, California, they meet an old miner, Jake Whitney, claiming to know where the flag is. When Sydney and Nigel find him dead in an abandoned gold mine, they suspect that he was murdered while trying to capture the flag. They must unearth the banner before meeting Jake's fate.

Event: NOVA SCOTIA 1600'S Sydney crash lands at a convent in Nova Scotia, while returning from an expedition. The Sisters of Mercy ask for help in finding the remains of Sister Evangeline, whose body has been missing for over 400 years. Enlisting Nigel's help, Sydney finds there is more than a person seeking the body of the murdered nun and discovers that the Sisters are guarding lost jewels and pirate treasure.

Event: CHICAGO 1930 Sydney is persuaded to locate Al Capone's diamond encrusted gun by the grandson of a man framed for murder 70 years ago, which he hopes will clear his grandfather's name. Sydney uncovers a lot more in a Chicago hotel formerly frequented by Capone, while Nigel gets interested of Lori. With Capone's fabled lost bunker booby-trapped to keep its secrets, it takes a lot for Sydney, Nigel, and Lori to escape.

Event: NEPAL 523 B.C. Sydney and Nigel go to Nepal searching Buddha's bowl for villagers building a shrine to Siddhartha, the original Buddha. But Sydney's rival, Stewie Harper, is also searching for the artifact. Hired by a banker, Michael Chan, who needs the bowl to save his family's bank from financial ruin, Stewie will stop at nothing to beat Sydney, and it takes all her resources to make sure the bowl ends up in its place.
