Summary
Following his victory, General Protector of the Nation, León Lima, returned home only to discover that his sister had been humiliated and his mother seriously injured. Filled with anger, he punished the culprits and discovered that the local authorities, in collusion with corrupt nobles, had diverted compensation funds for the soldiers. Armed with the imperial gold plate, he investigated from the county government to the imperial court. With the support of the empress, he executed corrupt officials, purged the administration, and demanded justice for his comrades-in-arms and family.
