FAI felt that it could not tolerate KUEN. They reported to police. HIM intended to be a pupil of a piano master YU. However, he was being hindered by tutors. YING returned from the States. She lied to HIM that she had recovered, but she in fact got a tumor. LAI was sick. FAI took care of her tenderly. LAI was impressed. Learning from videotapes, HIM practiced very hard. He even recited those difficult musical pieces. FAI, LAI and HIM were working hard towards their goals. On MAN’s birthday, MAN invited HIM and YING to karaoke for celebration. She found they were intimate. She would have no regret only if HIM was happy. YING realized that HIM’s real love was MAN. She returned to the States solitarily. RAYMOND had done something on FAI’s drawing, which FAI failed to enter the competition. The piano school where HIM was learning was being disturbed. It was decided to have pupils of the two schools for a competition.

KUEN borrowed money for stock speculation. He also intended to take over CHOI’s property. CHEONG was dangerously ill. The doctor asked LAI to prepare psychologically. HIM and FAI found FUN was looking pale. They were worried. LAI supported FAI of entering the interior design competition. KUEN lost money and was dunned for debt. KUM also lost in stock market. KUEN looked for CHOI. He discovered CHEONG’s passbook and got something in his mind. FAI received bad news of FUN. He left HIM a message and went to see her. FAI encouraged FUN waiting for HIM to come. However, HIM looked for MAN and talked because he understood FUN would ask for his forgiveness. He still could not let off easily. FUN requested FAI not to blame HIM and was dying with regret in his arms. HIM was very sad of knowing FUN’s death. He finally pulled himself out from pain. LAI discovered there was only several cents left in CHEONG’s passbook……

LAI was surprised to know FAI had got a pair of contact lens for her. Finding CHUNG and CHUN had their another half, HO was lamented and tried to kill herself. Fortunately, HIM was able to stop her and invited her to live with him. LAN’s husband YUEN employed several detectives to look for LAN’s daughter. LAN was grateful. FUN understood that she had not got rid of drug yet, she refused moving to FAI’s house. A big company invited FAI to join them, but FAI rejected for the sake of HIM and others. HIM and MAN had picked each other’s wallet. However, they still could not see each other. CHING and CHOI could not go home for dinner. LAI and CHEONG had their reunion dinner quietly. HO refused to have reunion dinner with FAI because she was not his family member. Therefore, FAI adopted CHUN and HO to be his brother and sister. LAI went to flower market alone and met FAI……

RAYMONG took an opportunity to reveal his love to KWAN. He urged her to divorce FAI soon. CHEONG got a street stall at the New Year eve. A rich woman LAN gave CHEONG double price to cede it to her. CHEONG passed all the money to LAI. LAI recognized FAI was in economic difficulty, she paid for him the material cost. KWAN decided to separate with FAI. FAI accepted unwillingly. KUN maltreated CHUN again and was arrested. FAI let CHUN to stay at his home. FAI accomplished the decoration. YEUNG was cool but admired his design very much. FAI was grateful to LAI and gave one third of his company’s share to her. He also brought her to get a pair of glasses and secretly ordered a pair of contact lens instead. FAI got back his luggage from KWAN’s home. He observed that she did not wear the wedding ring anymore. He was disheartened.

FAI intended to employ HO and CHUN in his decoration work, but they were discriminated by the neighborhood. Fortunately, YEUNG was righteous and had no objection. YING was caught back home by SAN. She requested DY to deliver her letter to HIM. HIM was touched that MAN had written lyric on his rhyme. He tried to thank her. However, he received a letter from YING asking him to elope with her. HIM was able to stop YING running away. He persuaded SAN to let YING leaving home for one night. HIM finally convinced YING going to the States for medical treatment. SAN blamed DY of bringing YING’s letter to him. DY was almost fired and he looked for HIM to vent his anger. KWAN and FAI met again but their relationship had not improved.

YING got on Ferris wheel with HIM and kissed him. She believed that this could be with him forever. On a beach, YING told HIM about her grandma’s story. She told him that she had cast a spell that he would stay with her forever. MAN met HIM and disguised her unhappiness last night. KUEN was suspicious of HIM and searched him. He discovered he was sick and looked down upon him. MAN received a birthday gift from HIM. She was very excited. Afterwards, she knew that it was abandoned by YING. She threw away angrily but got it back later from garbage. FAI’s first client was a house owner, YEUNG with stranger temper. Though he sneered at FAI, FAI was not discouraged.

MAN and LAI were working very hard to clean ‘CHOY KEE’. They helped FAI to set up a decoration company. FAI was impressed. MAN’s sincere help in ‘CHOY KEE’ had changed LAI’s prejudice against her of being KUEN’s sister. HIM and YING were always going out. MAN joined them but being neglected. After being looked after by FAI and HIM, DY did not followed YING anymore. FAI’s decoration company opened. MAN invited everyone for dinner at her mom’s vegetarian restaurant to celebrate. MAN did not dare to tell her mom (KUM) about her love of HIM. She talked to her father FUNG instead. MAN suggested going to karaoke after dinner. She announced her birthday at midnight. However, everyone left and MAN celebrated it alone.

In order to support FAI, LAI resigned. She asked FAI to hire her and suggested him to start his own business. FAI neglected and told his friends to find job for her. MAN tried to prevent YING from looking for HIM, but was in vain. YING intended to live in HIM’s house. FAI promised but MAN was disappointed. CHOI was spending a lot and always looked for CHEONG to vent her anger. LAI found that CHOI had re-mortgaged the flat, which increased her burden. She quarreled with CHOI. Meanwhile, CHEONG was fainted suddenly. LAI sent her to hospital. KWAN delivered FAI letters and they were like strangers. RAYMOND deliberately pleased KWAN and said some good words for FAI. YING accompanied HIM to have interview but was looked down upon. FAI was dissatisfied and got back justice for HIM. With FAI’s encouragement, HIM faced the future bravely.

LAI discovered the diskette that had got FAI’s password. She looked for FAI. FAI and KWAN behaved affectionately in front of people. FAI drank down cares. Midnight, FAI got drunk and returned home. He received a call from hospital that CHOY was asking to leave. On his way to hospital, FAI determined to apologize to CHOY. However, they could stand with each other when they met. FAI bought some beverage for CHOY and found he was dead. He regretted that he did not apologize. FAI and HIM were sad when tidying CHOY’s house. FAI realized RAYMOND’s wicked plot and went to argue with him. However, FAI’s boss was standing by RAYMOND.

FAI asked LAI to interpret HIM’s conversation so that he could experience HIM’s suffer. YING looked for HIM to have medical consultation. MAN followed them secretly. YING had stolen a music box. HIM was angry. YING knew her wrongs at last. She tried to express to HIM. MAN immediately got herself involved with them. FAI brought HIM, CHUNG and others to the clubhouse for swimming. They were discriminated. Under FAI’s insistence, they could enter and had a joyful day. MAN and YING quarreled from jealousy for HIM, but HIM treated them the same. FAI decided to give up his high paid job so as to look after HIM. SIU was afraid FAI would disclose company’s plan. Therefore, he ordered the whole industry not to use FAI. FAI and HIM visited CHOY. CHOY transferred his shop ‘CHOY KEE’ and the flat under the name of HIM.

MAN was in despair. She talked to her parents and sought comfort. HIM’s sickness was still unstable. FAI was worried. CHEONG was in danger. LAI asked FAI to give her a drive. However, it was a false alarm. FAI suddenly perceived something and decided to stay and looked after HIM. KWAN was angry. She packed everything and proposed divorce. FAI’s boss offered FAI attractive terms of going to Canada to accomplish an important task. FAI considered. LAI rebuked FAI of not understanding HIM. Therefore, FAI had a chat with HIM and recorded HIM’s conversation with illusion.

KWAN was very happy that FAI had promised to emigrate. HIM left hospital. MAN was distasteful when she saw HIM and YING were getting along very well. HIM realized FAI was going to emigrate. In order not to make FAI worry of him, HIM pretended he had recovered. FAI brought HIM to protection workshop. He was at ease as HO and others supported HIM. YING locked herself up in a ward. SAN and HAR were helpless. Meanwhile, HIM passed by. YING ran away with him. MAN arranged to meet HIM at cinema, but he did not show up. YING told HIM that although she had a well-off family, she was unhappy. Therefore, she always stole so as to draw her parents’ attention. HIM persuaded her to return to hospital and promised to go with her for next medical consultation. MAN was worried and looked for FAI. FAI realized HIM was in hospital and went there. MAN was disappointed when seeing HIM was with YING again.

MAN saw HIM was lying on the floor. She immediately sent him to hospital and informed FAI. KWAN’s parents told FAI that HIM was a burden to him and asked him to put it down. CHOI’s boyfriend KUEN told her to re-mortgage the flat, and lent him money for stock speculation. HIM’s condition was unstable. FAI was agitated. HIM met YING in hospital. She was crying and HIM gave her tissue. FAI felt he was unable to take care of HIM. He intended to emigrate to Canada with KWAN. FAI invited RAYMOND for dinner. RAYMOND set him up by making their boss misunderstood FAI had betrayed the company. HIM and YING communicated more in hospital. FAI’s boss gave FAI a deadline to make a decision of whether he went to Canada for development or not.

FAI found HIM and saw that he was digging the ground by hands, which were bleeding. HIM recalled his childhood that FUN had forced him to steal so as to make a living. FAI felt sorry for him. LAI by mistake copied RAYMOND’s diskette. Both of them did not aware of it. FAI discovered FUN still took drugs. He decided to send her to hospital. FAI asked KWAN to look after HIM. KWAN could not stand with HIM’s strange behavior. She tied him up in a study room. FAI brought FUN home for a short stay. KWAN was dissatisfied. FAI was shocked to find HIM was locked in the room. KWAN wrongly accused him of peeping at her while she changes clothes. RAYMOND got the password of FAI’s program and successfully got the content of his proposal. FUN met CHOY in hospital. CHOY admitted frankly that he would not forgive her. HIM was knocked by a car and MAN witnessed.

FAI sent LAI home. CHEONG and CHING misunderstood he was LAI’s boyfriend. HIM was overdosed and FAI immediately sent him to hospital. FAI brought HIM to protection workshop. However, HIM did not recognized CHUNG and others. A merchant SAN and his wife HAR knew their daughter YING was a psychopath who felt obliged to stealing. However, they only concentrated on their business. FAI brought HIM to Lantau Island. They met LAI and CHEONG. CHEONG was insulted in a ferry. LAI protected her regardless of her danger. LAI told FAI that she hated very much people insulted the weakling. FAI had the same perception too. An amulet was fallen into HIM’s pocket by mistake. He tried to returned it but did not knew where to go. Suddenly, he went up to the Big Buddha.

HIM was agitated by FUN’s act and felt sick. He rushed out from his house and bumped into MAN. FAI regretted when he recalled his childhood that he had pushed HIM to live with FUN. HIM was painful when he was fighting against illusion. Luckily, FAI came and sent him to hospital. FAI did not want HIM staying in mental hospital. He brought him home. FAI was restless with HIM and being vexed. FAI found LAI was lovely because she was simple and straight-forward.

In the police station, TONY and his friends were arrogant. The policemen disliked them and helped HIM. Another mental patient CHUN lived with his uncle KUN who treated her violently. HIM’s mother FUN stayed with HIM temporarily. HIM intended to tell her about his study in musical college, but he didn’t. A debt collector looked for FUN to pay debt. FUN was not in and HIM promised to pay for her. HIM was disappointed to discover FUNG was still addicted to drug. FUN determined to get rid of it. From his father’s best friend MENG, FAI realized that he had wrongly blamed CHOY for years. He even self-rebuked that he had hurt HIM indirectly. HIM at resigned from his job. His boss appreciated him and gave him extra bonus, which could pay FUN’s debt. However, FUN took HIM’s savings hoping to get more money to settle the debt. At last, she was cheated for every penny and caught to police station.

FAI returned to the office at midnight and found LAI slept. He finished her work and left quietly. LAI woke up and was surprised to find the work was done. FAI visited CHOY but their relationship did not improved. RAYMOND played LAI. She thought it was done by FAI. She ran into his room and argued with him. MAN fell on the floor when she was cycling. HIM helped her. She had better impression on him. HIM received an entrance notice from a musical college. He was very excited and played guitar all night. MAN was living upstairs of HIM. She recorded every note. FAI went to a protection workshop to understand HIM’s job in the past. Though HIM’s colleagues stayed away from him, he did not bear in mind. HIM and CHONG went to a fastfood shop, TONY and others insulted them. They fought together and were caught to a police station.

TONY and BEN stole HIM’s medicine, which made him fall sick. Everyone was shocked to know HIM was a mental patient. HIM struggled hard but fortunately FAI arrived. FAI was surprised that HIM was a ex-mental patient. HIM was reluctant to tell him why he was mentally sick. LAI brought CHEONG to medical consultation. CHEONG told LAI about her past painful experience. FAI rebuked LAI of being late. LAI’s colleagues had activated the sprinkler my mistake and some important documents were wet. They put the blame on LAI. She did not have any choice and had to dry the documents up. She was tired and fell asleep.

HIM always wore a smile and was a welcome person. However, his colleague TONY was dissatisfied with him. A girl MAN met HIM and was impressed. HIM’s mother, a drug addict, often visited him. FAI finally found HIM and they intimately acquainted with each other. FAI was comforted that HIM had become a lawyer, but he was only a messenger in a law firm. HIM’s colleagues BEN and TONY suspected HIM had mental disease. FAI and his father CHOY had disagreement. FAI brought HIM to visit CHOY, CHOY seemed to have something hiding from him. YING’s behavior was strange. Her father sent DY to watch over her HIM found that he almost recovered, he stopped taking medicine. In order to accompany CHEONG, LAI was late for work again. Her colleagues were dissatisfied. HIM’s illness broke out. He immediately looked for medicine to control it.

The auditorium is full. HIM is performing feelingly on stage…. Everything started in the Christmas of 1996. LAI and her sister CHING brought their grandma CHEONG to a buffet. A mental patient YING was running after being discovered of shoplifting in a CD shop. She knocked on the stage, which was destroyed. CHOI felt that CHEONG was a burden and did not care of her. LAI was always late for work because she had to look after CHEONG. FAI employed detective to find his missing brother HIM.
