Series synopsis
Cangaço Novo is a drama crime television series that premiered on Prime Video on August 17, 2023. It was created by Eduardo Melo, Mariana Bardan. It stars Allan Souza Lima, Alice Carvalho, Ricardo Blat and Enio Cavalcante.
Adrift and desperately needing money to pay for his ailing adoptive father's care, Ubaldo, a bank clerk who's unable to remember his childhood, receives an inheritance that will change his destiny for good. He goes to Cratará, in the heart of the northwest desert, where he'll become the leader of a pack of ruthless bandits, fulfilling the legacy of his biological father - a mythical cangaceiro.

To save Dinorah's life, Sabiá sends her to help Ubaldo fulfill her promise, after which she can exact her revenge. Ubaldo will have to fight his own sister if he wants to survive. |
